Sustainable Sweden Southeast AB (SSSE) is a business creating network with 32 owners. 10 municipalities and 22 companies in the south eastern part of Sweden. Most of the companies are SMEs but there are also multinational companies in the network that support SSSEDs work. SSSE works together with universities, municipal plants, R&D, networks with national and international clusters in all different fields and subjects for a sustainable society. SSSE was established in 2001 through the initiative from some of the companies in the network, the municipality of Kalmar, the Regional County Council and with support from the University of Kalmar all with the aim of working for a sustainable society.
SSSE supports business relations between Swedish industries and international partners and also cooperations between industries, universities and the public sector = Triple-Helix model to fulfil their goals. SSSEDs holistic approach covers the technical as well as the operational and management aspects of environmental and sustainable system solutions. SSSE works in different business systems . groups of companies for specific projects and solutions in Sweden and international. Feasibility studies, development projects, conferences, seminars, technical visits are examples of projects.
