China Baltic Business Forum 2010
The China Baltic Sea Business Forum 2010 will be arranged in Huzhou - Changxing (approx. 2 hours from Shanghai) on October 12th and 13th. It will be two days of seminars and matchmaking with companies from the great Yangtze River Delta area.
The Chinese government is seriously focusing on keeping a high growth rate while keeping CO2 emissions under control. To reflect this national policy the theme of CBBF2010 will be "Low Carbon Economy". This theme spans over all bransches of industry, service and trade. Clean tech, environmental know-how and services will see huge increase in demand in China in the coming years both from the public and the private sector. This also includes all kinds of sustainable energy production and energy saving technology.
The Regional Council in Kalmar County together with our neighbouring counties in Småland-Blekinge will organize a tour-package aimed at companies searching for increased knowledge and business opportunities in China. The tour will include visit to Expo 2010 in Shanghai, CBBF 2010 in Huzhou - Changxing as well as other business creating activities in the bustling Ynagtze River Delta region. It will be a week of many opportunities to meet Chinese companies seeking business and European companies that have set up business in China.
Preliminary dates for this venue is to leave Europe on October 6th and return on October 14th. More information will be published at our website as it develops.
China Baltic Business Forum 2009
CBBF2009 was held on September 17-18 at Kalmar Castle. About 200 delegates from China, Finland, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the UK and Sweden met in match-making, expo and seminars. Over 120 scheduled match-making talks were held! Many contacts were made that will lead to ne business and new cooperation.
